# Recommended Process

A rigorous qualification process saves tremendous time and effort in the overall raise process. In particular, a rigorous qualification criteria helps avoid countless instances whereby founders pursue a given investor and land introductions only to discover after multiple calls that the investor doesn't focus on their specific stage or sector.
