# Emerging Co-Investor Network

> Metal tracks investors that recently co-invested with your existing investors and surfaces ones that fit your upcoming rounds.

Your cap table investors are continuously deploying capital into new companies — and each of those companies raises from a set of co-investors. Over time, this quietly builds a network of investors reachable through your existing relationships, without you doing anything to earn it. The Emerging Co-Investor Network surfaces that network and turns it into warm introductions.

## The Co-Investor Feed

The feed lists investors newly reachable through recent investments made by your existing cap table investors, ranked by relevance. Each row shows:

  <Card title="Latest Investment Date" icon="calendar">
    When the prospective investor made their most recent qualifying investment across the shared companies shown.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Your Existing Investor" icon="building-columns">
    The investor(s) in your cap table who co-invested with this prospective investor.
  </Card>

  Each co-investor appears once in the feed, even if they've co-invested with multiple existing investors or across multiple shared companies — those relationships are consolidated into a single row.

## Filters & Sorting

Narrow the feed by prospective investor, your existing investor, a custom recency window, or how similar the shared portfolio company is to your own — with options for High, Medium, or Low similarity. By default, results are sorted by **Relevance**, and you can switch to **Latest Investment Date** instead.

From any shared deal card, click **Draft Intro Request** to generate a personalized email to your existing investor, asking them to connect you with the shared portfolio company's founder or directly with the co-investor. The draft is pre-populated with the relevant context — no blank-page cold outreach required.

    Recency of the shared investment and how similar the shared portfolio company is to yours. By default, Metal looks at co-investments from the last 12 months in highly similar companies, and widens that window automatically if it doesn't surface enough connections.
